Mountain lion cub recovering after being rescued from Zogg Fire

A mountain lion cub is now recovering after a firefighter rescued it from the Zogg Fire on Sunday. The little guy weighs three and a half pounds, and officials believe it’s only three or four weeks old. The cub was seriously injured in the fire and was found badly burned, especially on his paws. His whiskers were also completely singed off. The Oakland Zoo is now taking care of him. The zoo says the cub is drinking milk through a syringe and is taking pain medication, antibiotics and fluids. Vets say they are “cautiously optimistic” he will be okay.
