Mountain Province: Q4 Earnings Snapshot

TORONTO (AP) _ Mountain Province Diamonds Inc. (MPVDF) on Thursday reported a loss of $145.2 million in its fourth quarter.

On a per-share basis, the Toronto-based company said it had a loss of 69 cents. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to 4 cents per share.

The diamond mining company posted revenue of $61.5 million in the period.

For the year, the company reported that its loss widened to $196.7 million, or 93 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $169.5 million.

The company's shares closed at 47 cents. A year ago, they were trading at 26 cents.
