Mourners in Washington pay tribute to Queen at British Embassy

Colleen Ainsworth, who works in Washington but lives in Atlanta, Georgia, said the queen was “an example of how we should all be” with her kindness and toughness, but she also had a sense of humor.
The death of the queen at the age of 96, Britain's longest-reigning monarch and a towering presence on the world stage for 70 years, has brought messages of condolences from around the world.
Buckingham Palace said there would be a period of mourning to be observed by members of the family and the royal household until a week after the funeral, the date of which has not yet been confirmed but is expected in about 10 days' time.
NBC reported that U.S. President Joe Biden would attend.
