Movado: Fiscal Q4 Earnings Snapshot

PARAMUS, N.J. (AP) _ Movado Group Inc. (MOV) on Thursday reported fiscal fourth-quarter earnings of $30.3 million.

On a per-share basis, the Paramus, New Jersey-based company said it had profit of $1.29. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring gains, came to 84 cents per share.

The watchmaker posted revenue of $178.3 million in the period.

For the year, the company reported a loss of $111.5 million, or $4.80 per share, swinging to a loss in the period. Revenue was reported as $506.4 million.

For the current quarter ending in May, Movado said it expects revenue in the range of $110 million to $115 million.

Movado shares have risen 29% since the beginning of the year. The stock has more than doubled in the last 12 months.
