Krispy Kreme first unveiled its Cinnamon Rolls in September 2021. Naturally, they became a fan-favorite, and it was hard to see the limited-edition offering leave the menu. Well, we have some good news — Cinnamon Rolls are back at the restaurant … permanently!

The yeast-raised dough is hand-rolled with cinnamon and topped with the Original Glaze that you’d find on a Krispy Kreme glazed donut. While, yes, the offering has returned, you can only get them on Sundays, referred to as Cinnamon Sundays. You can snag them individually or in a special four-pack.

“Our Original Glazed Cinnamon Roll was very well received when we introduced it last year for a limited time. When we get a fan reaction like that, we want to give them what they want. And there’s no cinnamon roll better ours; hand-cut and covered in our iconic Original Glaze,” Dave Skena, chief marketing officer for Krispy Kreme, said in a press release.

ORIGINAL STORY: Sept. 27, 2021 at 12:01 a.m.

We all know and love Krispy Kreme for its donuts, but the shop is going in a different direction to deliver customers its first-ever cinnamon rolls. What makes this news even more exciting is that one of them is made with *drumroll, please* Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal!

Beginning on Sept. 27, Krispy Kreme will be serving up two cinnamon rolls: Original Glazed Cinnamon Roll and Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cinnamon Roll. Both are yeast-raised, hand-rolled with cinnamon, and are glazed. However, if you want to stop there, go with the original. For an extra element, opt for the Cinnamon Toast Crunch version that includes cereal pieces and a cereal milk-inspired icing.

“These are exceptional and unique cinnamon rolls. Light and airy, covered in our one and only Original Glaze and topped with Cinnamon Toast Crunch, these are the best cinnamon rolls you’ll ever taste,” Dave Skena, chief marketing officer for Krispy Kreme, said in a press release.

These limited-edition offerings are available at U.S. locations individually or in a special four-count pack. Guess which option we’ll be going for.
