Move over Justin Fields. C.J. Stroud is now No.2 on Ohio State all-time TD passing list

C.J. Stroud continues to make his mark on Ohio State football's record book.

With his 69-yard touchdown pass to Emeka Egbuka in the first quarter against Michigan State, Stroud passed former Ohio State quarterback Justin Fields for the second-most career touchdown passes in school history with 64.

Stroud's 64 passing touchdowns are now second in Ohio State history behind J.T. Barrett's 104 he recorded from 2014-17.

Stroud opened the game with a 19-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. in Ohio State's first drive of the game against the Spartans.

Through the first five games of his redshirt sophomore season, Stroud threw 18 touchdowns and two interceptions, completing 68.7% of his passes for 1,376 yards.

Fields recorded his 63 career touchdowns in 22 career games for Ohio State. Stroud broke Fields' record in his 18th career start.
