Movers & Shakers: Framingham's Veronica Viveiros is partner at Touchstone

Veronica C. Viveiros, of Framingham, has been named partner at Touchstone, an Andover-based law firm specializing in real estate closings, litigation and estate planning services.

She brings more than 25 years of experience in real estate transactions, probate law, estate planning as well as building her own successful practice. Her specialities include real estate law, estate planning and probate matters.

Touchstone gains a new MetroWest office on Route 9 in Framingham with Viveiros coming on board.

She speaks Spanish fluently, and is proficient in Portuguese.

Jason Daniels, of Framingham, was recently appointed by the Board of Framingham Public Access Corporation to be executive director of Access Framingham TV, a nonprofit funded by cable TV subscribers that serves Framingham. .

He is responsible for the overall operation of Access Framingham with plans to orient the organization around community service through media programming and education.

Daniels was most recently executive director of Easton Community Access Television, where in 2010 he began building the organization from the ground up into a four-channel station with 24/7 streaming and hundreds of events covered annually.

He has also managed public access operations in Medfield and Lowell, and is founder and producer of the International 100-Second Film Festival.

Daniels holds a bachelor's degree in fine arts with a concentration in video from Rutgers University.

Matt Pepin, of Medway, who serves as sports editor at The Boston Globe, was recognized by his alma mater, Eastern Connecticut State University, at its annual President's Leadership Luncheon and Awards ceremony.

Due to his rise in journalism, Pepin received this year's Distinguished Alumni Award. As sports editor of the Boston Globe, he oversees a staff of 30 full-time and 20 part-time employees in producing content for the newspaper's printed newspaper, websites, newsletters and social media.

Pepin joined the Globe in 2009 as digital sports editor before his latest promotion in 2018. He was previously sports editor at the New Haven Register and Times Record-Herald in Middletown, New York.
