Movies on the Common is back with movies and more on four themed nights

WORCESTER —  Movies on the Common returns to the Worcester Common this summer with free screenings of a diverse lineup of films at four themed nights beginning June 15 with a showing of the comedy "Napoleon Dynamite."

The outdoor series, which dates back to 2011, will also feature a variety of pre-movie activities at every event, including comedy, caricature artists, music, face painting, local food and more.

“The Movies on the Common series not only provides a unique and engaging entertainment experience, but it also highlights the diverse cultural fabric of our city,” said City of Worcester Cultural Development Officer Fabian Barracks in an announcement. “We are excited to present a fantastic selection of films that celebrate humor, pride, local talent and the power of imagination,” he said.
