Eric Conn, a.k.a. "Mr. Social Security," remains in prison for defrauding Eastern Kentuckians out of Social Security benefits while his story will come to you via Apple TV+.

Beginning on May 6, you can watch Conn's story unfold in a four-part docuseries by streaming it on Apple TV+.

Conn was eventually indicted and pleaded guilty to stealing from Social Security and bribing a federal judge. He faced a 12-year prison sentence, but a few weeks before his day in court, Conn fled the country.

He was later apprehended at a Pizza Hut in La Ceiba, Honduras, by the FBI attaché in San Salvador and Honduran police, which added 15 years onto his sentence.

Conn, 61, is incarcerated at a federal prison in Ashland, Kentucky, and is not eligible for release until 2040.

Ned Pillersdorf is a lawyer practicing in Prestonsburg, Kentucky, and he has been helping some of Conn's former clients, pro bono, for the last seven years, and was interviewed for around 20 hours for the docuseries.

He said that the second half of the show will include interviews of him and Conn's former clients. "What the documentary will show is that the Conn clients were treated like lesser beings."

A podcast with interviews and deeper details about Conn's life will also be available on May 6 on Apple Podcasts.
