Mr. Yo's Donut opens Fort Collins location
A Windsor doughnut shop is on the rise with a recent expansion into Fort Collins.
Mr. Yo's Donut — owned by Windsor couple Hyo and Susanna Jang — opened a new location at 1335 W. Elizabeth St. Monday, taking over the former home of a shuttered Jimmy John's sandwich shop.
The new doughnut shop will help serve Mr. Yo's base of Fort Collins customers, who Hyo said have been asking for a closer location for years. It also marks an exciting new chapter for the Jangs more than two years after Susanna suffered a brain aneurysm in late 2019.
In response to Susanna's hospitalization, Hyo and Susanna temporarily closed their Windsor shop — prompting a GoFundMe crowdfunding effort by Windsor residents to raise money for the couple, who ultimately reopened their shop in early 2020.

Today, Hyo said he and Susanna are excited for the work and excitement that their new location will bring. Operations at their Windsor location, which they opened at 1296 Main St. in 2013, will not change.
"(Susanna) wants to be in the restaurants, she misses it," Hyo said.
Mr. Yo's Donut makes doughnuts fresh daily, offering everything from classic glazed and cake varieties to long johns, jelly-filled, cinnamon roll doughnuts, fritters, croissants and more.
The new Fort Collins shop is open 6 a.m. to noon Monday through Friday and 7 a.m. to noon Saturday and Sunday. Mr. Yo's Donut is open at its Windsor location from 5 a.m. to noon Monday through Saturday and 7 a.m. to noon Sunday.
