MSP: Marquette man arrested after online messages with children discovered

MARQUETTE, Mich. (WJMN) — A Marquette man has been arrested after Connecticut police alerted local authorities that an adult was “chatting with minors” on the internet.

A spokesperson for Michigan State Police tell us 41-year-old Trevor John Flynn was the subject of the investigation. After receiving the tip they searched his home and digital properties, resulting in two charges:

  • Accosting a Minor for Immoral Purposes

  • using a Computer to Commit a Crime

If convicted, Flynn could face up to four years for the first charge, and seven years for the latter.
