Cape Cod’s colleges — Cape Cod Community College and Massachusetts Maritime Academy — are public institutions, funded by taxpayer dollars.

In fiscal year 2021, the state budget for Massachusetts Maritime Academy was $18.9 million, and the budget for Cape Cod Community College was $13.7 million.

A large portion of the colleges' annual budgets goes toward staff salaries. We used state salary data to find the top earners at both the maritime academy and community college.
