Okay, so there's no denying that Meghan Markle's maternity wardrobe was on point, but wouldn't yours be, if you had a budget of over half a million?

According to Love The Sales, who've analysed all 75 outfits the Duchess has worn to public engagements since last September, Meghan has spent almost £500,000 on clothes during her pregnancy.

The site calculates that the total cost has been £478,920, or £6,385 per outfit - but notes: 'granted 1/3 of this is down to expensive jewellery'.

The most expensive look was the stunning full-skirted gown by Oscar de la Renta she wore to Geographic Society Awards in October which, according to the Daily Mail, cost £10,000. The Duchess paired the dress with a pair of £490 black bow heels by Aquazzura.

However, the most affordable total look is the stunning £79 polka dot dress (which is currently sold out) from & Other Stories, which she wore with, £179 Karen Walker sunnies and £189 Sarah Flint sandals in October 2018.

As for single items, the £24.99 H&M Mama dress, which sold out in just 24 hours, was the cheapest the Duchess wore.

Meghan's most 'liked' (based on social media responses) maternity outfit is the black silk Givenchy gown she wore in December, and her favourite brands during her pregnancy (by the number of times she has worn them) are: Aquazzura, Givenchy, Stuart Weitzman & Outland Denim.

Oh, and in case you were wondering which colours she wears the most? Blue and black. We can totally copy that.

According to Love The Sales, the cost of Meghan's wardrobe is over seven times what Kate spent during her pregnancy - although they don't specifically mention which pregnancy of Kate's they're referring to.

While we might not have either of the Duchess' budget, we can still very much enjoy taking inspo from them. And praying for the odd high street appearance, of course.
