Wind Advisory in effect
Residents of south central and southwest New Mexico, along with portions of far west Texas, are advised to brace for strong winds as a Wind Advisory remains in effect Wednesday from noon until 8 p.m. MT.
The National Weather Service has issued a warning of west winds ranging from 25 to 35 mph with gusts anticipated to reach between 40 to 50 mph.
Drivers, particularly those operating high-profile vehicles, are urged to exercise extra caution on the roads, as winds of this magnitude can make driving challenging.
Is it going to rain today?
Meteorologists for the National Weather Service said the moisture will be very little, less than a tenth of an inch. But El Paso will have another shot at some rain, mainly on Saturday. East and south in Hudspeth County could see no rain, if any, on Tuesday.
