How much snow is North Jersey getting? See inch count predictions by town

After a winter that has seen next to no snow, North Jersey finally looks set to be blanketed by the white stuff.

The snow is expected to start Monday night, after 7 p.m. and continue into Tuesday morning. A winter weather advisory has already been put into effect.

Ahead of a likely messy commute Tuesday morning, here are the predicted snowfall accumulations across North Jersey, according to the National Weather Service:

  • Hackensack: 5 inches

  • Lyndhurst: 5 inches

  • Paramus: 5 inches

  • Ramsey: 7 inches

  • Ridgefield: 5 inches

  • Ridgewood: 6 inches

  • Rutherford: 5 inches

Passaic County snow forecast

  • Ringwood: 7 inches

  • Wayne: 6 inches

  • West Milford: 8 inches

Essex County snow forecast

  • Bloomfield: 5 inches

  • Caldwell: 6 inches

  • Millburn: 5 inches

  • Newark: 5 inches
