Mulberry to close both directions between Riverside and Lemay over the weekend

If you need to drive on Mulberry Street between Lemay Avenue and Riverside Avenue over Halloween weekend, you're in for an extra scare.

That section of Mulberry will be closed in both directions from 5 a.m. Friday, Oct. 28, until the evening of Monday, Oct. 31, for railroad crossing and road repairs. The Great Western Railway crossing will be repaired, as will its adjacent road.

If you're trying to head westbound, you will be diverted onto Lemay Avenue. If you're headed eastbound, you'll be redirected onto Riverside Avenue.

There is an additional closure for trucks this weekend, too.

Trucks won't be able to turn north onto College Avenue from Jefferson Street. They will instead be routed along Lemay Avenue and Suniga Road.

If you're traveling by foot or bike, the Poudre Trail will remain open.
