A multi-vehicle accident shuts-down part of Kell Freeway Saturday

According to Wichita Falls Police spokesman Sgt. Charlie Eipper:

Shortly before noon, three vehicles were driving west on Kell Freeway between Brook and Harrison when they tried to merge causing a wreck.

One vehicle rolled and ended up in the center median. Eipper said officers discovered a Ford Expedition and a Chevrolet Silverado pickup collided.

The collision sent the Ford Expedition into the grass median where it rolled over. The Silverado collided with a semi-truck in the right lane. The semi-truck was also hauling another semi-truck.

There were four occupants in the Expedition, one person in the Silverado, and one person in the semi-truck.

There were no serious injuries reported.
