Barn fire spreads, causes several field fires in Darke Co.
Multiple agencies were called to respond to multiple field fires and a barn fire in Darke County Saturday afternoon.
Around 4:30 p.m. New Madison fire crews were called to a barn fire in the 3000 block of state Route 503, according to initial reports.

Embers from the barn fire were carried by the wind and caught several nearby fields on fire, according to a spokesperson for New Madison Volunteer Fire Department.
Due to the extremely dry conditions, the fire spread quickly.
Fire departments from Darke, Preble, and Miami County were called to help put the fire under control, the spokesperson said.

No injuries were reported in the fire.
Smoke from the fire could also be seen on Live Doppler 7.
