Dozens Killed in Osaka Building Fire

At least 24 people died after a fire broke out at a building in Osaka, Japan, on December 17, according to Japanese broadcaster NHK and The Japan Times.

This footage, posted to Twitter, shows smoke and flames pouring from a window in the building in the Sonezakishinchi area of Kita Ward.

NHK said 27 people suffered cardiopulmonary arrest, 24 of whom died. A 28th person was injured. Police were investigating possible arson.
