Multiple injuries after crash on I-95 near Sunrise Blvd.

At least three people have been injured after a crash on I-95 this afternoon.

The 4:30 p.m. crash happened in the southbound lanes near the Sunrise Boulevard exit.

Rescue workers raced to free people trapped in vehicles. An alert to the news media said three of the injured sustained traumatic injuries. At least one of the vehicles rolled over.

News station WPLG Ch-10 was on the scene and reported that two vehicles were involved in the crash. The station said in addition to the adults who suffered traumatic injuries, a child was also injured. A firefighter working to free those trapped was also injured, the station said.
