Multiple shell casings found after 2 teens shot in Edgehill area, police say

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Authorities are investigating after two teens were shot in the Edgehill area Saturday night.

The shooting was reported shortly before 9 p.m. in the 1300 block of 14th Avenue South on Saturday, Feb. 10, Metro dispatch said.

According to the Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD), two teens — ages 15 and 19 — were taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center and Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries following the shooting.

At the crime scene, officials reported they found “multiple shell casings.” A vehicle that was possibly involved in the shooting was also located.

The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain under investigation. However, the MNPD told News 2 that “active leads are being pursued.”
