An art installation
was set up in Marienplatz square
to call for "mindfulness and appreciation" in people
(SOUNDBITE) (German) ARTIST, DENNIS JOSEF MESEG, SAYING:"The installation, the silent memorial, the silent vigil consists of 111 mannequins in different constellations: there are teenagers, children, adults, men, women, small and large. It is an average of the population, wrapped in red and white barrier tape. //The figures deliberately lack limbs which stands for the restriction of movement. I chose mannequins for the standstill everyone feels right now in society.
