A murder suspect remains on the loose after a large manhunt at a South Carolina state park, police say.

Ryan Dusha Kedar, 49, is accused of killing Mark Jermon, who was found dead at Herdklotz Park in Greenville on Wednesday morning, according to the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office. The 58-year-old was found shot to death on the park’s soccer fields, WSPA reported.

The sheriff’s office said Thursday it obtained warrants for Kedar’s arrest and released photos of him and the 2004 Ford Explorer he was believed to be driving, asking that anyone with information call 911 or Crime Stoppers.

The SUV was found near Paris Mountain State Park after someone reported a suspicious vehicle Friday night, FOX Carolina reports.

A search involving about 100 law enforcement officers ensued at the park, but Kedar or anything else connected to him was nowhere to be found, the sheriff’s office said Saturday evening.

He is still on the loose, and the sheriff’s office believes he is armed and dangerous.

The motive behind the death is still under investigation, but the sheriff’s office says Kedar and Jermon were “familiar with each other.”

Kedar is described as an “avid outdoorsman,” and the sheriff’s office says he often hikes and camps at state and national parks. He has family in New Jersey.

The sheriff’s office still asks that anyone with information call 911.
