12-year-old, uncle found safe after being reported missing in Murfreesboro

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WKRN) – The Murfreesboro Police Department said a boy and his uncle have been found safe after they were reported missing in Murfreesboro.

Murfreesboro police issued a “Be on the lookout” (BOLO) alert for 12-year-old Bryson Givens, and his uncle 31-year-old William Johnson, just after 10:30 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 20.

Authorities reported that Bryson was last seen in the Kaylee Circle area between 1-3 p.m. Monday when he left to go to the store with his uncle, William Johnson, and never returned home.

In the alert, police said Johnson was not from the area and could have been lost.

On Tuesday, just after 1:30 a.m., officials announced that Bryson and his uncle were found safe.
