Music at Grace concert series schedule

The Music at Grace concert series presented by Grace Lutheran Church at 2014 Madison Street is pleased to announce its 21^st season for Fall 2022 and Spring 2023.

The season will begin on October 2^nd with Elijah by Felix Mendelssohn. This oratorio will feature Grace Lutheran’s choir and orchestra along with many community musicians.

“One of the biggest achievements of this project has been combining our musical forces with singers from a number of churches and choirs from the Clarksville community and surrounding area.  We hope that joining together to perform such a monumental work stands as an example of civic bond and friendship in a world that is so divided from one another,” Director of Music Jonathan Rudy said.

December will feature Christmas music by the popular Clarksville ensemble Red River Breeze, returning again to the Grace Sanctuary.  January will feature our annual Epiphany Concert, featuring carols and music of the Advent, Christmas and Epiphany seasons. And the spring will feature the return of Les Kerr and his Bayou Band, a Piano Classics recital with Dr. Susan Yang from Vanderbilt, and the continuation of the 5-year Bach Organ Music recital series by our own Director of Music, Dr. Jonathan Rudy.

All concerts are on Sunday and begin at 4 P.M.  Admission is free.  Donations are accepted.  Call Grace Lutheran Church at (931) 647-6750 for details.
