DOVER — A free concert of Christmas musical entertainment will be performed by piano, string and vocal ensembles when members of the Tuscarawas/Holmes Music Teachers Association and selected students present their annual Ensemble Concert on Dec. 18 at 7 p.m. at the Dover Alliance Church.

The program will feature the teachers and selected students from area communities, playing a variety of selections in duets and ensembles, including music by the late, internationally-acclaimed New Philadelphia composer Robert Vandall.

Participating THMTA member teachers are Mary Cooper, Phyllis Ronald, Judith Schenker, Luci Shank, Julie Beachy, Karen Vandall, Susan Weaver and Melanie Winn. Doug Huston and Josh Winn will assist.

There is no admission charge for the program, and the public is invited, but there will be freewill offering plates at the back of the church, which is located at 228 E. Third St., Dover.

Proceeds will be donated to T4C’s Share-A-Christmas effort.
