'We must do more to protect children's dreams' - Beckham

Former Manchester United star David Beckham on Wednesday (November 20) called on world leaders and adults in general to listen to the voices of children at an event at the United Nations to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Convention on the Rights of the Child.

"Stranger Things" actor and goodwill ambassador Millie Bobby Brown also vowed at the event to use her position to end bullying.

The Convention of the Rights of the Child is a treaty ratified by the United Nations in 1989, defining and calling on governments to defend and protect children.
