Mustang Public Schools employee under embezzlement investigation
MUSTANG — A Mustang Public Schools employee resigned this week after the school district uncovered financial irregularities.
Law enforcement and auditors are investigating alleged embezzlement, the school district announced Friday.

The employee resigned late this week after being placed on leave.
Mustang Superintendent Charles Bradley said the district will cooperate with all investigations into the matter.
“We are disappointed and saddened by this alleged wrongdoing perpetrated by a longtime district employee,” Bradley said in a statement.
The school district declined to provide further information.
