ATLANTA — The Browns have officially ruled out Myles Garrett against the Atlanta Falcons, the team announced Saturday.

The All-Pro defensive end was officially listed as questionable by the team on Friday afternoon as he continues to recover from a one-car accident he was in on Monday. Coach Kevin Stefanski said he wanted to see how the next 24 to 48 hours went before making a decision.

Garrett did not travel with the team to Atlanta, per team spokesman.

Garrett sustained a sprained shoulder and biceps strain, as well as multiple lacerations, when he rolled his Porsche Turbo 911 S multiple times on State Road in Sharon Township. After getting a rest day at home on Wednesday, he did not practice despite being at the Browns facility on Thursday and Friday.

"That's up to the training staff and the coaches," Garrett said Friday of his playing status. "If it were up to me, I would love to go. That's just my competitive spirit and my nature. Physically we have to assess that going up to the game, today, tomorrow and on Sunday. But that's just a decision we'll make closer to game time."

Tight end Miller Forristall was signed to the active roster off the practice squad. Defensive tackle Roderick Perry II and defensive end Curtis Weaver were elevated to the gameday roster from the practice squad.

Weaver will join rookies Alex Wright and Isaiah Thomas, along with sixth-year pro Isaac Rochell, in the defensive end rotation. Tommy Togiai is expected to start at one of the defensive tackle spots in place of Taven Bryan, who was ruled out on Friday with a hamstring injury.

Myles Garrett fined for unflagged hit on Steelers QB Mitch Trubisky

Garrett also received word from the NFL on Saturday that he was being fined $15,914 for a hit on Pittsburgh Steelers' quarterback Mitch Trubisky during the Browns' Thursday night win in Week 3. There was no flag thrown on the play, but after review by the league office, it was ruled to be roughing the passer.

The play in question came with less than 1:20 remaining in the third quarter and the Steelers facing third-and-3 from their own 32.. Trubisky's pass on the play was incomplete to Dionte Johnson.

Pittsburgh offensive tackle Chukwuma Okorafor did not receive any fine for his actions on the play in which Browns linebacker Anthony Walker Jr. suffered a torn quad tendon. Okorafor jumped on Walker behind the play while he was on the ground after having been injured while planting his leg and then collapsing to the turf.
