Myles Garrett tweaks hamstring, sits out first Browns practice

Defensive end Myles Garrett will have to wait just a little longer to get back into pads for the first time since November. The Browns standout defensive end missed the first day of training camp practice with a minor hamstring injury.

Coach Kevin Stefanski described the injury as a ‘little tweak’ in his press conference after practice. Stefanski noted he knew it was disappointing for Garrett to not be out there with his teammates after how hard he’s worked and he “wants to see the big guy out there”. He does not expect the injury to keep Garrett on the sidelines for long.

Along with Garrett, starting center JC Tretter also sat out Friday’s camp kickoff. Tretter recently had a minor knee procedure and will miss up to two weeks.
