Mike Lindell is coming back to Springfield this week, and he’s bringing his Election Crime Bureau Summit with him.

Wednesday and Thursday, Lindell is hosting guests at the University Plaza Hotel and Convention Center to witness the unveiling of his plan to secure elections in the country.

Lindell, who is known as the founder of MyPillow, says his plan is something that will draw support from Republicans and Democrats, liberals and conservatives. The goal of the plan, he said, is to “ensure the integrity of our electoral system and protect our Constitutional republic from the Deep State.”

An ally of former President Donald Trump, Lindell has repeatedly made unproven claims of election fraud in the 2020 elections. Election officials across the country have debunked those assertions and Lindell has been ordered to pay legal fees and other costs after filing "frivolous" lawsuits against election systems companies.

Trump faces multiple criminal charges related to alleged attempts to remain in office after his 2020 election loss, including a federal conspiracy case and a grand jury indictment in Georgia, unveiled Monday, that includes 41 charges against the former president and 18 alleged co-conspirators related to efforts to overturn the 2020 vote.

A year ago, Lindell hosted a 48-hour "Moment of Truth Summit" in Springfield. In emails to registered guests, Lindell said the 2023 event will cost $3 million and feature representation from all 50 states.

Speakers at the event include Rudy Giuliani, Steve Bannon and Lou Dobbs, as well as several other conservative commentators and supporters.

The event schedule includes activities from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. each day, culminating in the revelation of Lindell’s plan to secure elections immediately. Lindell also claims to have evidence supporting the urgency of implementing his election plan.

The event will be livestreamed at Frankspeech.com, with options to tune in to translations in 90 languages, according to event organizers.

“I wasn’t given this platform for personal gain,” Lindell said in emails to registered guests. “I didn’t survive drug addiction and multiple brushes with death to quit now! God gave me this platform for SUCH A TIME AS THIS!”

Event emails insist that every legally cast vote must be counted so that the 2024 election is not stolen, as Lindell and other conspiracy theorists say the 2020 election was.

Emails are ended with requests for monthly donations to the Lindell Legal Offense Fund, which is sponsoring the event. Lindell said that the event is organized at great personal expense.
