Mystic ranch lists for $15.2M in New Mexico. See what makes it ‘exceptionally rare’

An enormous ranch that lives up to its mystical name has landed on the real estate market in New Mexico. While ranches are put up for sale often in the state, this particular property stands out in multiple ways.

“Land of Enchantment Ranch” — which is listed for $15.25 million — is a 12,700 acre property located a mere hour from Santa Fe, something that is almost unheard of according to a news release, in a place called Las Vegas.

“It is exceptionally rare to find a contiguous, fully fenced ranch of this size so close to major metropolises,” the listing says. “Santa Fe and Santa Fe Regional Airport are only an hour’s drive from the property ... Santa Fe National Forest borders the ranch for nearly the entirety of its western boundary, providing immediate access to several hundred thousand acres of public land.”

And the rarities don’t stop there. Also included on the property:

  • Two-bedroom, two-bathroom remodeled home

  • Courtyard

  • Hot tub

  • Storage house

  • Garage

  • Barn

  • Shop

One of the estate’s biggest draws (other than mystical views) is that there is “evidence of Native American artifacts, petroglyphs and remnants of rock buildings from early settlers are throughout the ranch,” the listing on Hall and Hall says.

Wildlife roaming the ranch include elk, deer, bear, mountain lions and so much more.

The listing is held by Jeff Buerger.
