'Myths and Legends' to revisit Salem Cemetery Headless Angel

The Holmes County Historical Society will host the second installment of its Myths and Legends program at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 5, at the Millersburg American Legion.

The program will be revisiting the Salem Cemetery Headless Angel. The presenter is society President Mary Tipton, co-author of "Holmes County Hair Raisers" book.

The group will dive into the head found by some Holmes County residents to determine if it is the actual missing head. It is a mystery for you as the audience to be solved and your input would be welcomed. The group will also receive the Historical Society’s determination on the head.

The second half of the program will be an introduction to Holmes County’s own professional Bigfoot hunter, Gordon Mullett, who will take the audience into his life and his hunt for Bigfoot of 2017. Attendees can examine the evidence Mullett found.

There will be a round of questions and answers at the end of the program.
