In-N-Out Heiress Lynsi Snyder-Ellingson Lists Los Angeles Mansion for $16.8 Million

In-N-Out heiress Lynsi Snyder-Ellingson is looking to offload her sprawling Mediterranean-style mansion for $16.8 million. The young billionaire, whose grandparents founded In-N-Out Burger in 1948, has lowered the asking price considerably since first listing the home in 2017. (She purchased the property for $17.4 million in 2012.)

The regal pad is spread out across four acres, with an 18,600-square-foot main house that comprises 11 bedrooms; a tennis court; a basketball court; a fitness center, a private two-hole golf course; and a 3,400-square-foot recreation center that could be used as a ballroom, a dance studio, or a batting cage, according to Mansion Global. There is also a guest house, an infinity-edge pool and spa, a six-car garage, and a full outdoor kitchen.

In the words of the listing, the main house is “a shining example of opulence done so well it will delight all your senses.” The grand foyer features a soaring ceiling, with double staircases framing the entryway. One of the living rooms features antique chandelier lighting fixtures, molded ceilings, and a carved mantel fireplace. A wood-paneled study elsewhere on the main floor features a marble-fronted wood-burning fireplace and an entire wall of built-in shelves and display cases. But perhaps one of the most unique features of the ground floor is the dedicated wine room, with its own elegant wine refrigerator and built-in bar.

There is also a billiards room and a home cinema. Out back, spacious covered patios and an outdoor fireplace make for cozy entertaining spaces. Snyder-Ellingson is the sole heiress to the burger fortune and currently serves as its owner and president. According to Forbes, she is worth an estimated $3.6 billion.
