N.Korean missile launch not a threat directed at U.S, S.Korea - allies say

SEOUL, July 26 (Reuters) - The South Korean-U.S. military command said on Friday a North Korean missile launch the previous day was not a threat directed at South Korea or the United States and had "no impact on our defense posture".

The launch off North Korea's east coast out over the sea was believed to have been of a new type of North Korean missile, the Combined Forces Command said in a statement. (Reporting by Idrees Ali; Writing by Joyce Lee Editing by Robert Birsel)
