Nadine Coyle has admitted that she hasn’t spoken to her Girls Aloud bandmates for six years.

The group, which was plagued by rumours of in-fighting and feuding, split for good in 2013 and the Irish singer said she hasn’t had much contact with the other four girls since then.

Coyle – who has jetted Down Under for the new series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! – said she did speak to Sarah Harding around the time that her old bandmate did Celebrity Big Brother in 2017.

But according to the Mirror, she confessed that she hasn’t talked to Cheryl, Kimberly Walsh and Nicola Roberts for quite a while.

She said: “I spoke to Sarah around the time of Big Brother but I haven’t seen or spoken to them since the end of Girls Aloud or just before I had my daughter.

“So that’s about six years ago.

“Sarah more recently at the start of Big Brother when she was very excited, but yeah I haven’t spoken to or seen any of them in about that long.”

Coyle, 34, has previously said she didn’t really have a friendship with her fellow Girls Aloud stars in the first place.

Speaking on Celebrity Juice last year, she said: “There was no fallout, no.

“There was just no friendship to begin with.”

"It’s for the best,” she added.

The singer is mum to five-year-old daughter Anaiya with American footballer Jason Bell and recently revealed she has become “fearful” of all sorts of things since becoming a parent.

She said she hopes her stint in the jungle helps her to confront her feelings of anxiety.

“I really hope that by doing this, it pushes me so far out the comfort zone and that I learn to be comfortable, feel relaxed and do the things that I didn’t used to be afraid of,” she said.
