Jul. 14—KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced Thursday that it will continue to contest the NAIA indoor track and field national championships in Brookings, South Dakota through the 2024 season.

Dakota State has been the host institution since 2019, with Brookings hosting in 2019, 2020 and 2022. (The 2021 event was moved to Yankton due to COVID-19 policies).

Dakota State just completed its third year as host of the championships at the Sanford-Jackrabbit Athletic Complex (SJAC) in Brookings on the campus of South Dakota State University.

"The NAIA is proud to announce a continued host partnership with Dakota State and the Sanford-Jackrabbit Athletic Complex," said Austin Bennett, NAIA Director of Championships. "Dakota State has done a tremendous job in providing our student-athletes a first-class championship experience and we are looking forward to heading back there for the next two season."
