Naked man enters Planet Fitness and goes straight to tanning room, Tennessee cops say

A man walked into a Planet Fitness in Tennessee without two essential things — a membership and his clothes, police said.

Metro Nashville Police Department arrested 29-year-old Daniel Reiff on misdemeanor charges of indecent exposure, public intoxication and trespassing on Wednesday, according to the Davidson County court documents.

Reiff strolled into the 24-hour gym in Nashville stark naked, WKRN reported.

He walked right past the front desk and into a tanning room, locking himself inside, according the media outlet.

Planet Fitness staff called the police — who found Reiff still naked in the tanning room when they arrived, WZTV reported. Reiff opened the door for them.

“Reiff was very jittery and talkative as he spoke with police,” according to the media outlet. He reportedly had dilated eyes and told officers he’d taken Adderall before arriving at the gym.

When asked about his clothes, or lack thereof, WSMV reported Reiff told officers he ripped his pants.

Police found the pants “several blocks away,” according to the media outlet.

Staff at the Planet Fitness said Reiff is not a member but had trespassed there in recent days, WSMV reported.

Court records show he was taken to Hill Detention Center, where he’s been held under a $1,000 bond.
