Nakyla Williams, missing since Nov. 8, may be in Michigan, Indy police say

An Indianapolis woman missing since Nov. 8 may be in Flint, Michigan, police announced Thursday afternoon.

Nakyla Williams was last seen getting into a white pickup last month in the 4800 block of North Kenmore Road on the northeast side of the city. Her family told police this is unusual.

The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department announced Williams’ missing status on Nov. 30, more than three weeks after the 24-year-old disappeared, and asked for the public’s help locating her.

In the latest update, police said they believe Williams may have traveled to Flint. Officials said they have contacted the city’s police department to share information about her disappearance.

Investigators do not suspect foul play.

Williams’ family has organized search parties for weeks throughout the city, including one Thursday morning in woods within the area she was last seen.
