Jul. 26—Feel the holiday magic with a pop music icon.
Debbie Gibson will bring her "Winterlicious: An Evening of Holiday and Hits" show to Mount Airy Casino Resort, 312 Woodland Road, Mount Pocono, on Nov. 25 at 8 p.m., the casino announced Monday.
The singer-songwriter first burst onto the scene in the 1980s with the release of her debut single, "Only In My Dreams." From there, she produced hit singles, including "Shake Your Love," "Out of the Blue" and "Foolish Beat" and even appeared on Broadway, as Belle in "Beauty and the Beast" and Sally Bowles in "Cabaret."
Gibson's holiday show will feature seasonal favorites and classics of her own, reworked to fit the spirit of the season, "delivered with plenty of yuletide razzle dazzle," according to a press release.
"We're thrilled to welcome singer-songwriter Debbie Gibson and her magical Winterlicious Tour to Mount Airy Casino Resort," said Hassan Abdel-Moneim, vice president of resort operations. "We pride ourselves on bringing national acts to the Poconos, and this fall will be no different. We look forward to hosting music lovers from across Northeastern Pennsylvania and the tri-state region."
Tickets for the 21-and-older-only show cost $45 and $55, plus fees, and go on sale Friday at mountairycasino.com.
