PORTSMOUTH — Portsmouth Regional Hospital welcomes Kerrin Lucas, CPA, as the new Associate Chief Financial Officer. Lucas comes to PRH from the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services where she served as Chief Financial Officer for the past four years.

At DHHS, Lucas was responsible for a budget of more than $2.8 billion; worked to ensure continuity of important services such as Medicaid, TANF and SNAP during a federal Government shutdown; helped secure millions of pieces of Personal Protective Equipment for the State and U.S. Veterans Administration at the onset of COVID-19; and was appointed by NH Gov. Chris Sununu to serve as interim Health Commissioner.

She also has worked for the State’s Department of Revenue Administration.

Lucas earned her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Southern Maine and is working toward a Master of Health Care Delivery Science degree with an expected graduation date of August 2022.

She serves on the New Hampshire Society of Certified Public Accountants’ Board of Directors; is Treasurer for Operation Game Thief, a non-profit dedicated to rewarding people who report poachers; and was a member of the Leadership of Greater Concord Class of 2020.

Seacoast Mental Health Center, Inc. welcomes Dr. Jodi Marshall as Chief Medial Director

PORTSMOUTH — Dr. Jodi Marshall has joined Seacoast Mental Health Center, Inc. as Chief Medial Director. Marshall’s career in medicine began with research investigating a vaccine for Alzheimer’s disease. She continued this research after graduating from Hamilton College and went on to obtain a medical degree from Dartmouth Medical School.  Following medical school, she completed a residency in Adult Psychiatry at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. She then went on to complete a fellowship in Geriatric Psychiatry, also at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. This additional training allowed her to specialize in the treatment of dementia and other mental health conditions in those over 65 years old. As part of her fellowship, she took special interest in end of life care in patients with dementia, and this remains a passion of hers.

Marshall is currently board certified in Adult Psychiatry and Geriatric Psychiatry. She began her post graduate career as a staff psychiatrist at Seacoast Mental Health. She went on to hold medical director positions at Frisbee Memorial Hospital’s Geropsychiatry Department then at St. Joseph Hospital’s Senior Behavioral Health Unit. She has worked in inpatient and outpatient settings over the course of her career.

EXETER – Core Podiatry welcomes Patrick Dwyer, DPM, FACFAS, CWS to their Epping office at 96 Calef Highway (Route 125).

Dwyer has 30 years of experience as a podiatrist and wound care physician. He received his undergraduate degree at Wilkes University in Wilkes-Barre, PA and his DPM at Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Dwyer completed his residency in foot surgery at Stanford University/Veterans Medical Center in Palo Alto, Calif.

“I am pleased to join Core Podiatry to provide conservative and surgical management of all foot care needs for the entire family,” says Dwyer.
