Ryan Coburn of Dover joins Bulfinch Group

NEEDHAM, Mass. – The Bulfinch Group has announced that Ryan Coburn of Dover has become affiliated with the firm. Founded in 1994 and headquartered in Needham, Mass., with offices throughout New England, The Bulfinch Group is a wealth management firm headquartered at 160 Gould Street in Needham, Mass.

Coburn earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Health and Physical Education and Master of Science degree in Sport Management and Recreation from Springfield College. During college, he played varsity basketball and volleyball as well as participated in the school’s Dream to Read Team. Some of Coburn’s other interests range from youth basketball coach and serving as the Springfield College Assistant Men’s Basketball coach.

He lives an active lifestyle, working out and seeking adventure in the great outdoors alongside his wife Katherine. When he is not working, you will find him and Katherine traveling and trying out new food, wine and live music.

Coburn currently resides in Dover after growing up in West Warwick, Rhode Island.

Tung Ha joins Northeast Credit Union

PORTSMOUTH – Northeast Credit Union welcomes Tung Ha as the Assistant Vice President of Card/ATM Operations & Strategy. Tung is responsible for the management and operational effectiveness of the Card Operations Department which includes Debit and Credit Cards, ATM/ITM, and instant issue products and services.

“Tung’s experience in finance, in addition to multiple business systems and technical integrations makes him a great asset in this role. We have no doubt that he will successfully lead a very capable team and execute both short- and long-term strategies of the organization,” shares Richard Lipari, Vice President Operations.

Nick Toumpas appointed to CCSNH Board of Trustees

CONCORD – Nick Toumpas has been appointed to the Community College System of New Hampshire Board of Trustees. Toumpas was nominated by Governor Sununu and approved by the NH Executive Council for an initial term through June 30, 2025, representing the healthcare sector.

Toumpas is a resident of Rye, N.H. He is currently retired, but is actively engaged in several boards focused on the healthcare sector. From 2007-2016, Toumpas was Commissioner of the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services, and his background also includes leadership positions in technology and emergency response.    

The 24-voting member CCSNH Board of Trustees is designed to be broadly representative of the New Hampshire communities and industry sectors that CCSNH serves. Members are drawn from business and industry, education, healthcare, law enforcement, career and technical education, mechanical trades, technology, CCSNH employees, students and alumni, the community service sector and the public.

The Community College System of NH consists of seven colleges, offering associate degree and certificate programs, professional training, transfer pathways to four-year degrees, and dual-credit partnerships with NH high schools. The system’s colleges are Great Bay Community College in Portsmouth and Rochester; Lakes Region Community College in Laconia; Manchester Community College; Nashua Community College; NHTI – Concord’s Community College; River Valley Community College in Claremont, Lebanon and Keene; and White Mountains Community College in Berlin, Littleton and North Conway. The seven community colleges in the system are committed to working with businesses throughout the state to train and retain employees to develop a robust workforce across all sectors and embraces the "65 by 25 Initiative," which calls for 65% of NH citizens to have some form of postsecondary education by 2025 to meet future workforce demands.
