Jan. 1—Madelia Health Foundation

Madelia Health Foundation's 5K Run/1M Walk took place July 10, during Madelia Park Days. Anderson Race Management co-sponsored the event that included 100 registered racers ages 5 to 74. Downs Food Group won the Most Participants Team trophy and Mountain Lake Mile Munchers won the Best Team Time trophy.

Ohio Dominican University

Jessica Duden, of Springfield, graduated from Ohio Dominican University, Columbus, during the fall semester.

Duden earned a master of arts degree in English.

Augustana College

Allison Schmoll, of Madison Lake, was been named to the spring semester dean's list at Augustana College in Rock Island, Ill.

Schmoll earned this academic honor by maintaining a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher on a 4-point scale.

St. John's

Jacob McCabe of St. Peter, and Sheamus Westermann, of North Mankato, earned the distinction of being named to the dean's list for the 2021 spring semester at St. John's University, Collegeville.

To be included on the dean's list, students must have a semester grade-point average of at least 3.80 and have completed 12 credits for which honor points are awarded.

St. Cloud Tech

St. Cloud Technical and Community College recently recognized the following students for their academic achievement during the spring semester.

Tyler Hollom, of Le Center, and Hanna Shank, of Mankato, were named to the President's List for earning grade-point averages of 4.0.

Mason Sohre, of Good Thunder, Autumn Bleess, of Janesville, and Samuel Poquette, of New Ulm, were named to the dean's list for earning GPAs between 3.5 to 3.99.

University of Wyoming

The University of Wyoming-Laramie lists Andrew Byron, of Mankato, on its 2021 spring semester Provost's Honor Roll.

The Provost's Honor Roll consists of undergraduates who have completed at least six but fewer than 12 hours with a minimum 3.5 grade-point average for the semester.
