Names released of 3 killed in Cumberland County house fire

The names of three people killed in a Cumberland County house fire Monday afternoon were released Wednesday by the Sheriff’s Office.

Wanda Wilson, 68; Amber Nucci, 37; and Dylan Townsend, 21, were killed in the fire reported just before 2:30 p.m. at a modular home on Unicorn Drive in Gray’s Creek. The rural property, situated along a dirt lane off Chicken Foot Road, has a Saint Paul mailing address.

“We offer our deepest condolences and prayers to the Wilson, Nucci, and Townsend Families, as well as friends of the deceased,” a Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office news release said.

The release noted that foul play is not suspected, but the cause of the deadly blaze was not revealed.

Monday's deadly fire was the second in eight days in the county. On Feb. 19, 9-year-old Thomas Miller died in a fire at his family's Dasher Lane home.
