Nancy Pelosi's daughter, Alexandra Pelosi, is turning her attention to her mother. In her upcoming documentary Pelosi in the House, Alexandra follows her mother's career from her 1987 election through the January 6 capitol riots.

Per HBO, "Filmed in a cinéma vérité style over the course of three decades, Pelosi in the House provides a unique, longitudinal window into the life of a longstanding Democratic politician and history in the making." In addition, "the film offers a unique look at American politics through her efforts on the Affordable Care Act, the COVID-19 relief package, two impeachments as well as a record of the events of January 6, 2021, following Pelosi and other lawmakers at a secure location as the crisis unfolded."

Footage from the documentary premiered on CNN last month, showing congressional leaders fleeing the US Capitol and Pelosi coordinating with Vice President Mike Pence. It was also used in the House select committee investigating the attack on the Capitol—Alexandra had been filming her mom on January 6, and ended up capturing history.
