Is Naomi set to make WWE return at Royal Rumble?WWE

Naomi could be set to make a big return to WWE, nearly two years after walking out on the company as one-half of the Women's Tag Team Champions.

Following her departure from WWE, Naomi (now going by her real name Trinity) debuted for TNA (then known as Impact) in May 2023, going on to win the Knockouts Championship.

But after just 10 months with TNA, Trinity is reportedly leaving the promotion to return to WWE, just in time for the Royal Rumble on January 27.

At TNA's Hard to Kill pay-per-view on January 13, Trinity lost the Knockouts Championship to Jordynne Grace, ending her 182 day reign.

Trinity then appeared at the TNA TV tapings on January 19 and 20, where she appeared to give fans a farewell message.

"Coming to TNA has been life-changing for me, both inside and outside the ring," Trinity said.

"I feel honoured to work with such a strong division and an incredible group of women. Wow, what a champion we have here on our hands.

"When all of y'all think of TNA, I want you to think of me. Trini-TNA! Thank you for coming out, we love you!"

While Trinity has not commented on whether her time with TNA has come to an end, Fightful Select reported ahead of Hard to Kill that she was set to become a free agent soon.

Last May, Trinity spoke to Digital Spy and revealed if she had to choose a career outside of wrestling she would like to be on Broadway.

"That was my dream before I became a wrestler and I would love to accomplish that at some point in my life," she said.

Sharing what her dream role on Broadway would be, Trinity said: "Chicago. I would like to be one of the Cell Block Tango girls.

"I really like the high dance shows, like Moulin Rouge," she added. "I go up there and see as many of them as I can just to stay inspired."
