Naperville Coronavirus Update: 122 New Cases In Past Week

NAPERVILLE, IL — The number of coronavirus cases in Naperville has increased by 122 cases in the past week, according to updated information from the DuPage County Health Department (DCHD).

As of Oct. 14, there had been 1,455 cases reported in Naperville. The total number of cases reported in Naperville as of Oct. 21 was 1,577.

  • Sept. 16: 1,191

  • Sept. 23: 1,251

  • Sept. 30: 1,296

  • Oct. 7: 1,356

  • Oct. 14: 1,455

  • Oct. 21: 1,577

At press time, there were no active coronavirus cases in Naperville, according to DCHD. The total number of coronavirus-related deaths in Naperville has been 40 since DCHD began tracking coronavirus statistics.

In nearby Lisle, the number of coronavirus cases had increased by 38 cases. As of Oct. 14, the village had reported 360 total cases of the new coronavirus. Those numbers had increased to 398 as of Oct 21.

To date, there have been a total of nine coronavirus-related deaths in the village, DCHD reports. According to the DCHD website, there were no active coronavirus cases in Lisle as of Oct. 21.
