We spoke with the Naples Police Department to get data on the city's 2023 car crash statistics, including where most crashes happen and why.

NPD says these were the top three causes of automobile accidents in 2023:

Following too closely
Failed to yield while approaching or entering an intersection
What were the most common types of impact?
The department said the top three types of impact in 2023 were:
Angle
Front to rear
Side swipe, same direction
