Fans of the “Friday'' movie sequels might have noticed something familiar with Rihanna’s half-time performance during the Super Bowl.

At one point in her show, the Barbadian singer/entrepreneur busted out into the butterfly.

Naptown-born comedian Mike Epps brought awareness to the similarities Tuesday by posting an Instagram video with the text, “Rihanna hit that Mike Epps Butterfly at the Super Bowl” and showing a snippet of her moves from Sunday’s performance along with his top-flight butterfly/tootsie roll dance from the big screen. He commented with a stream of laughing emojis.

Plenty of folks saw the resemblance and lots of celebrities responded with their own laughing emojis, including rapper Busta Rhymes, comedian DC Young Fly, Indy’s own celeb manager and promoter Amp Harris – and even Rihanna’s partner A$AP Rocky.

Director Malcolm D. Lee (“The Best Man,” “Girls Trip”) co-signed with a hardy “Shol did.”

No word on whether Rocky showed the post to Rihanna, who revealed to 113 million viewers Sunday that she is pregnant with the couple’s second child.

Epps is hosting the standup comedy tour "Straight Jokes! No Chaser" featuring Cedric the Entertainer, Earthquake, D.L. Hughley and DC Young Fly, that kicks off at Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Saturday, March 4.
