- If you've always wondered what it's like to live on Mars, NASA is looking for four volunteers to live on a fake Mars for one full year starting in 2025. It's part of a simulation to prepare for an actual human mission to the red planet. All you have to do is live in this 1,700 square foot habitat at NASA's space center in Houston, Texas, which includes four living quarters for each volunteer. Just like life on actual Mars, there will be limited resources during the mission, so volunteers will need to grow their own crops, work with robotics, and maintain the habitat through some simulated equipment failures. Applications are due April 2, so check out the listed requirements if you're interested.
